Firewood Fridays
Firewood pick up season runs from November – March. This is available to Cuba Township Residents. Pick up time: 7:30AM – 2:30PM at the Road District Office. If you are interested in this program, you must be registered. Call Sue at 847-381-7793 to register. Once you are registered you don’t need to re-register.
Our Firewood handout is coming to an end. Our last handout day of the season is Friday, March 20th 7:30-2:30!
*NOTE: Firewood hand out is subject to cancellation due to snow and ice weather conditions.

MULCH
Self Serve mulch is near the textile box. Pull in where our salt is stored and look to your right (first come first serve basis).

Mulch is available for delivery to Cuba Township Residents ONLY for the delivery cost of $125.00 per truckload. Each truckload of mulch is approximately 6-8 cubic yards.
The mulch is double-ground through our tub grinder and consists of both hardwood and softwood which is collected throughout the township and neighboring villages. The mulch is dark brown in color.
Deliveries are available on Fridays between 7:30am and 2:30pm (same day delivery is typically not available).

Brush Pick Up
Our next brush pick up will be in the fall. Date – to be determined
The guidelines are as follows:
- The diameter of branches needs to be less than 8”.
- The pile should be neatly stacked
- No wider than 10’ (looking at it from the street), 4’ high, and 5’ deep.
- No root balls, stumps, decorative grasses, leaves or yard waste.
- If the brush pile exceeds this guideline, the remaining branches WILL NOT be picked up!
- One pile per household.

STORM BRUSH PICK UP GUIDELINES:
The Road District will conduct a special brush pick up for tree debris resulting from major storm damage. Because not all residents have storm-related tree debris, pickups will be made by request only. Residents who have storm-damage tree branches or brush for pick up should contact the Road District office promptly at 847-381-7793 and provide your name, address and phone number. Once your information is received, your address will be added to the pickup list. The guidelines above apply for storm damage as well.
