Brush Pick up – Spring 2025

Our Spring Brush pick up will be the week of April 7, 2025.   All Cuba Township Residents that have brush to be picked up must call Sue at the Road District Office 847-381-7793 prior to April 4th and provide your address.  Neatly stacked brush piles cannot be larger than 10′ X 4′ and no logs or branches larger than 8″ diameter.  No leaves, grass, weeds, root balls or nothing in plastic or paper bags can be picked up.

• We do not pick up on IDOT roads (Rt 59, Rt 22 and Rt 14)
• We do not pick up on Lake County Roads (Roberts, Miller, Kelsey and River)

2025 Spring Shred Event:

We will be having a Spring Paper and Electronic Shred Event on April 19, 2025 for all Cuba Township Residents

Location:  Cuba Township Road District Office  – 28160 W Cuba Road/Barrington, IL 60010

Time:  8:30AM – 11:30AM

Firewood pick up season runs from November – March.  This is available to all Cuba Township Residents.  Pick up time: 7:30AM – 2:30PM at the Road District Office.  If you are interested in this program, please register .  To register,  call Sue at the Road District Office 847-381-7793.  .

• Please consider donating to the Cuba Cares Food Pantry when you pick up firewood.  Top Items:  Canned stews, canned salmon, Canned Ham, Canned Chili, Brown Rice, Cereal & Granola Bars, Kleenex, Toilet Paper and Paper Towels.  Monetary donations accepted as well.  Thank you very much!
